Go read the passage. The quake occurs in the midst of an invasion by millions into the ME. There are descriptions of Gd using what can only be described as a nuclear event. Yes a nuclear event big enough would cause a massive earthquake all over. Chain reaction.

It has been at least eight years since I studied Psalm 83 in detail, and I can’t remember my conclusion. I leave open the possibility that the AC is correct.

At any rate, it is true that Ezekiel speaks of the Gog/Magog attack on Israel happening when the inhabitants are living in peace without walled villages, bars or gates. This is covered in Ez. 38.

Also that verse isn't just referring to Israel , it's referring to multiple historical sites (Arioch) including Jordan

The only other place neighboring Israel that has no conflict.

The armies of Gog and Magog are clearly an alliance of Muslim nations and Russia.

Ezekiel 38. A nuclear event and the clean up after?

This is a really gruesome scene. And very curious. The Israelites will recover an astonishing amount of war material from the invaders. For seven years, "they shall burn them with fire" to supply their own domestic energy needs. This might refer to massive oil tankers and mobile tank trucks captured after the battle. Maybe. Chuck Missler suggested that this passage might refer to captured nuclear weapons. Nuclear power plants can use Mixed OXide (MOX) material consisting of 7% weapons-grade plutonium and 93% regular uranium. Since reactor rods last several years, it's very conceivable that the recovered plutonium would support up to seven years of fuel production.

Then it would just take a few weeks of work with bulldozers (and vultures) to deal with the mess. Instead, this cleanup is very odd. Passersby don't just bury what they find; they erect markers and let the professionals carry the stuff away to a designated waste area. Sounds like the remains will be radioactive. Or toxic.
