It's probably because I'm trying to do this after hours. I did get an initial deposit to ameritrade, but then found out that they needed $168 per share instead of $91, so I tried to deposit more, and they paused that. It won't be available till the AM.
Coinbase is so easy compared to this.
Quoting: Green Eggs & Ham Wow, they peg it at after hours closing price instead of standard close? Quoting: AkashicRecord® yup. And fidelity just said it's 1-3 business days for deposit. Screw them. Who else? I'm getting sick of going through the signup process and not being able to just buy some damn stock. so frustrating Quoting: Green Eggs & Ham Wow. I wonder if different banks react differently with Fidelity. Wells Fargo here, nothing special but a checking account. One thing with Fidelity is they only let limit orders be within 50% of last trade price (not including after hours.) So for instance, I wouldn't be able to even buy 1 share @ 168 LIMIT since the close was only ~91 bucks! ...but after hours finished at 168! Quoting: AkashicRecord® I am supposed to be buying limit orders right? or will they not go through in the morning if the price spikes over that?
