Why is it that you guys interpret Revelation metaphorically, and yet you interpret almost everything else in the Bible literally?

How can you say the "whore" in Revelation is anything other than a literal human individual? The bible MUST be interpreted literally, correct?

If this Revelation is full of metaphors, why can't the story of Noah or the creation story be metaphorical also?

what you said contadicts explicit instruction of Revelation 22:18-19
which says..

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

understand that this particular scripture did not apply to the bible at the the time, rather it applied only to itself. Which was the book of Revelation. As the Bible is a collection of 66 books. IN other words, the Bible wasnt completed until after this scripture was written, hence this scripture only pertained to the Book of revelation, meaning, this is likely the only complete book, left unchanged, as is why it is so hard to interpret.

however, there is said to be one person on earth who can interpret, or other wise known as "unlock" the scroll...

again much of it would help if you were brought up to speed of how many prophecies have been fulfilled already in the Book of Revelation... it should be obvious of why they were left untouched and how remarkable because of, that it still came true in so many ways!!!
