I agree with you, but I think the collapse of REIT prices in April 2020 kind of built that glut into the current prices. So now, they are low and buying them is more a mid-term strategy.

I am looking at a number of REITS, one is into storage spaces, a couple are ETFs that spread the risk across against different types of RE investments

I like this because large cap can do well under a totalitarian regime.

But i am concerned that Bidennomics will mimic Obamanomics...and the market is so overpriced already.

commodities were the play six months ago, but I was riding the S&P until Trump was done.

so now, I think REITs are the way to go...others are saying business activity will be slow and hurt them..but you have to recognize...that the prices dropped last year..so thinking they are going lower as Covid is winding down is behind the curve thinking

Then follow that up with his huge 'Build Back Better' legislation .... which would be 15/min wage. and a tax hike, and undoing the good things Trump did with the Standard deduction, and capital gains and corporate taxes.

So..I thought in March or April, that could trigger a nice fat sell off.

But...now it seems Biden is too politically weak to anything.

Which means money pumping. Which means the Stock market keeps getting inflated as Democrat Cronies get their hands on Free government money to gamble with.

I have an invention that electronically elevates people's moods and their energy levels and can do it from a distance.

It would be perfect for a coffee shop. It wouldn't take too long before the line outside to get in was like Lourdes, although we'd never discuss healing anything.

Plus the staff would be incredibly positive and upbeat, showing up to work early and not calling in sick.
