1. A statue of something is not a God. We have statues all over the place.
2. Not making a graven image of GOD is what the commandment refers to--Trump is not God--the commandment is not violated.

I like the way that US-hating leftists, such as at Towelroad, describe President Trump as an "insurrectionist."

The statue is admittedly kind of dorky, however, but it's done in a ha-ha, caricature-type style. It'ts sort of a rightwing-self-deprecating send-up of President Trump's known love of the color gold and gaudy gold-themed interiors.

I'd rather have his bad taste than liberals'/leftists' US-hating "progressivism."

Because people through the years haven't been held accountable for being too liberal, too leftwing, too progressive, the country has grown more corrupt, more decadent, more unstable and more mean-hearted.

If cities like San Francisco/Baltimore/Portland were rightwing, if states like New York/California/Illinois were rightwing, if academia were rightwing, if Silicon Valley were rightwing, if the NFL/NBA were rightwing, if Hollywood were rightwing, if corporations were rightwing and "non-profits" were rightwing, yet today's America were no different from its real-life liberal version, I'd walk away from conservatism ASAP.
