I read that people with blood type O are less susceptible to coronaviruses because O blood cells have a smoother surface, making it harder for viruses to latch onto them.

Conversely, people with blood type A have little spikes on their blood cells that viruses can more easily latch onto.

This could explain why some people get sick often and other people almost never get sick.
