Tell that drones are out of season and there's a limit of two. Quoting: darth All you guys saying you will down drones with guns obviously saw none of the footage of the war in Armenia recently. I suggest you get up to speed and find somewhere solid to hide. There will be no shooting down tiny HE laden airplanes flying at you from anywhere in the sky (or EVERYWHERE in the sky) at up to 400mph. Please link! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79842475 during covid that went to 12 weeks. since jan 21 some components have gone to 36 months! certain chips, capacitors and relays. Our company have been trying to find alternatives but we get the same result from many countries. Our company cannot survive with these delays as well as many others. I spoke with supplier in china and he said there production output is higher than ever but everything is being bought by USA Mil!? We can connect the dots a bit (why would China sell to the USA military? Just NO.) because the same thing is happening with pet food. The issue is NOT with the food but with the aluminum cans. Some manufacturers have started to shift to different packaging options for some styles of pet food, but not all. This became apparent just after Christmas... In a nutshell, there is a shortage of aluminum -- which has also been noticed with soda pop...Could there be a materials war going on where countries are withholding their natural resources from each other? increased usage after covid19 in Copper Palladium Silver Tin at least 300 - 400 % in just 2 years span |

Taiwan is the leading semiconductor maker and they aren't selling jack shit to china for drones. Whats happening is all a part of the global reset - build back better. The major bankers are trying to slow down climate change by reducing consuption. They control all the import-export, manufacturing, credit to industries, shipping, everything is controlled by them and the black nobility. These people are deathly afraid we are killing the planet so they devised covid to essentially kill the economy and us all within the next 5 to 10 years and replace us with automation. That is the cold hard truth of it. I also believe there is a silver shortage adding to the stress of manufacturing across all sectors, especially semi conductors. |

Buying everything up to bring the supply chain home. Wise to bring the chain home, especially after China apparently threatened to cut off supplies of critical medicine and medical equipment during the Pandemic |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72707019 I know this sector, and what happened was demand was artificially suppressed when the pandemic started. Now it has sprung back, however other sectors like compute and automotive were already doing very well despite the pandemic. The compute sector was influenced heavily by all the people working from home. Demand has overwhelmed supply, and the real leadtime of most chips is 26 weeks. Supply chain disruptions have been pushing it out. It's the toilet paper, paper towel shortage in the new sector |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79365048 United States 02/27/2021 06:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP here. The unavailable components suggest to us that someone is making drones in a vast quantity It is NOT the US military getting all those parts ... since the US military/industrial complex does NOT have the manufacturing capacity to use all of those parts in a short time frame. MORE LIKELY China is going on a behind the scenes Defense Buildup, probably DRONES. A MASS of tens of thousands of Drones that just kept coming and coming and coming would overwhelm Taiwan in short order since they would be unable to refuel planes without them being destroyed on the ground ... AND ... it would be hard to move equipment around with the sky filled with drones looking for targets. DRONES are the GAME CHANGER NEW WEAPON for the next war. So far there is no good DEPLOYED defense system that can stop them either. |

You’re even less bright- though you’re right about Taiwan and semiconductors. If there’s one thing bankers fear more than climate change, it’s not having more money. We’re likely witnessing nation states, large corporations, etc. ordering large numbers of crypto mining tech so they can hoard Bitcoin. |

And that most small electrical components contain small amounts of rare earths. The article talked about how China was beginning to cut supplies to outside countries, this causing concern that if they ever shut supply off completely it would cause major havoc. Quoting: Unna That's why the US is going annex Greenland. |
