Over the years I have had the opportunity to talk to people from several countries where this right was taken. In every single case genocide was done and it didn't matter which culture it came from. My personal point of view is you need to fight for your rights as an American to keep this right.

No, you do not need to fight for an unalienable right. It is bestowed upon you by your Creator, it is born with you, and remains with you throughout the entirety of life.

What passes for government may attempt to punish you for exercising that right, but they can do nothing to remove it from you, save killing you, since you retain this right as long as you draw breath.

Of course, murdering anyone who is aware and exercises their unalienable rights is what government has always been about. Power over you is their drug.

It clarifies matters, once you realize this, to consider every single government actor, of any position, as at best an extortionist, and at worst as a potential murderer.

Addendum: my point is, we need to realize that such rights are non-negotiable, and then proceed to act like they are.

I liked what the insignia-lacking Russian troops who, very politely, took over the airport in Crimea a few years back when they were reclaimed the area, said to the police who came to the airport to find out what was going on. Their commander, in response to the enquiry as to why there were several hundred unmarked troops, fully armed, in the airport’s cafeteria, said: “I have no instructions to negotiate with you”.

The only reason why American people hasn't lost complete control over themselves are the guns. Once they take away the guns its over. While you have the guns America would be the biggest army in the Entire planet, I don't know anywhere in EU or Asia where you can easily own a gun.

Another reason is that the police wait until the shooting stops before they enter a building or home. Even when children are involved, the cops wait outside. Once the massacre is over, they safely enter. Oh, they do shoot unarmed people outside.
Police never settle a dispute either. They wait until someone is murdered. Then they investigate after confiscating all weapons.

Well, the linked story says they were shot by Soldiers. Soldiers are from the Gov'mint.
