If this stands, think of the thousands upon thousands - perhaps millions of people who will be on the streets 30 days after it goes into effect.

I mean, most of TX is largely operational?

At the end of the day, business is business. I’d be pretty pissed if I invested heavily in real estate, and was hemorrhaging because of a bunch of freeloaders, despite the state functioning better than most (even after a tragic winter storm..).

TX is 96% private land.

Target the politicians - not the landowners.

Exactly. If we didn't have so many homeless on the streets already it would be a major disaster. This now, this is going to keep us all walking in the street because the sidewalks will be filled with people just like us but with nowhere to sleep, go to the bathroom, bathe.

The moratorium was wrong in the first place, stealing money from the land owners, and now to be made so much worse. There are certainly not nearly enough people with jobs and money to fill all th e rentals which suddenly will become empty.

On the other hand, illegal aliens crossing the border in the millions will be given money, enough to rent prize places, apparently, so maybe that's what will temporarily save the landlords, until their property is destroyed with nothing left.

Everything in this country today is making me sick - I can't bear to think about most of it. I just pray God to take care of my little unimportant life, show me what I can do for others, and wait very quietly for the next explosion of insanity.

Time to cull the herd.
