Mass Casualty crash has occurred in Imperial, California. Massive emergency response reported on scene where a bus and truck have collided. Initial count 17 dead with multiple injured. Hospitals notified of situation.

At least 15 people died after an SUV with dozens of passengers hit a semi truck full of gravel near the U.S.-Mexico border in California on Tuesday morning, according to officials with El Centro Regional Medical Center.

At least 14 people died at the scene of the "major accident," said emergency room managing director Judy Cruz. Three people were flown to a hospital, she said. Seven patients were taken to El Centro, where one died. Two patients were taken to Pioneer Hospital, she said.

The Imperial County emergency services office responded to a "mass fatality incident" at 6:16 a.m. PT, deputy fire chief Sal Flores told the L.A. Times.

Umm...non-white. white people refuse to ride in any suv with more than 5 people. I know because I'm white and I'm not getting all crowded up to go ride somewhere. I would guess those in the suv were migrant field workers from the looks of the surrounding area.
