VJ was a man of an era where one foot straddled over rough times during 60s and the end of segregation and the other foot on a slippery slope of good intentions.

I just have to wonder if the man had an 'a-ha!' moment where he realized that he was on the wrong side of good/evil.

I have been noticing that a great many old Black men that were Civil Rights leaders back in the day, are now totally against what the Democratic Party has become. They know that the Democrats pander to the blacks before elections, then never do anything positive for them after they get elected. Black culture (morally) was better in the U.S. before the 1960's. There were more church going black Christians with better moral values than there are today.

Because a lot of those men and women back then either had kin or close friends in places like Rosewood, FL or Wilmington, NC and knew the true origins of those massacres.

So much history has been 1) erased, 2) hidden or 3) edited.
