Since Abbott can do away with the mask mandate as a governor, can he impose stronger restrictions on the border to prevent an influx of foreigners?

I went to the post office and waited in line with about 10 other people.
I was the only 1 without a mask. No one said anything about it.


I went to the bank and again I was the only one without a mask on.
The only person to say something was the door man. I said I can't breath with them on & he said OK.


I went to the gun shop & to get my taxes done.
No one at either place had a mask on, not the workers or the customers.



I have never worn one & will not wear one.
I don't understand how people just accept it.

The only way this mask insanity will really end is when state legislatures take control and pass statutes removing the authority to require masks away from businesses, counties and munincipalties.

The only places that should be allowed to require masks are medical like doctor offices, hospitals, etc.
