I just think some of the commenting took away from the

awesomeness of it in my opinion.

I just want little comments not continual talking.

But thank you Astromut...
Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ!

Here's a great shot of the post-landing explosion. You can see the asymmetrical expansion, it blows out to the left and flips the vehicle.
 Quoting: Astromut

Man, that bottle that resembles a missile flying away from the explosion drives home the reason for safety procedures when working around them.

Seriously, a complete waste of time.

You combine rail gun technology with particle accelerator tech and you blast that baby at just below the speed of light to wherever your heart desires.

Anyone who watches that and believes that’s real footage has a serious mental problem.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Do we know what happened yet? Didn’t seem to be any warning that it was going to blow.

My way, Mars ETA 12 minutes.
You could even throw in that one trick pony SpaceX that lands like a Harrier jet.

You're a dumbfuck. It was filmed by friends of mine using my software. It's not fake.

Well, I am certainly no rocket scientist, but my observations are thus: This cartoonish looking spaceship, looks like it belongs in a 1950's "Rocket to the Moon" movie with the black lagoon creature on board. In watching several of this "spaceship's" launchings, why does it seem terribly under powered? Like if you put a bit of cargo on it, it wouldn't be able to leave the pad? But as I said, no rocket scientist here, just wondering if any other commenters thought the same?
 Quoting: jihaditruth

It's deliberately not trying to accelerate very quickly, and this is the second stage of the final rocket being tested, not the much higher thrust first stage. They WANT to crawl up to apogee for this test.

Great Work. Great footage and I liked how your video is broken into bits and is labelled.

My wife I laughed at your expression to the explosion.
"It was here, now it's gone"

Your assistant wears a mask, poor fellow.

I wasn't there, my friends were the ones physically there today. I provided the software they used. They gave me a shoutout a couple hours into the webcast when they were explaining how the tracking telescope works.

"big picture, space exploration, if there is even such a thing, don't mean shit, never has, never will."
**********************************************

If all you are contemplating is your next bowel movement

in the next 12 hours...perhaps you are correct...

BUTT

Some people are aware of:

Columbia Exchange

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

The Columbian exchange, also known as the Columbian interchange, named after Christopher Columbus, was the widespread transfer of plants, animals, culture, human populations, technology, diseases, and ideas between the Americas, the Old World, and West Africa in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Helium 3
[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

Much speculation has been made over the possibility of helium-3 as a future energy source.

The abundance of helium-3 is thought to be greater on the Moon than on Earth, having been embedded in the upper layer of regolith by the solar wind over billions of years,
**********************************************

So perhaps your vision of your next bowl movement is...

a little short sighted.

A lot of good and bad things happen because knowledge

increasing...

Let's just agree that we are doing a little better than

"hunter gathering" and we should look a little farther out

on the horizon!

btw- last week my 3rd Grade, and 5th grade GRANDchildren

helped me determine the cost of the 11 year developement

(two years operating on the Martian surface)of the
latest Mars Lander...

We determined that the $2.3 Billion project will cost each
American $.76 per year for 11 years.
(We have already paid for the first 9 years.)

So... keep paying your taxes so my Grandkids will have a future developing new products and procedures that
hopefully will lead to better lives for all of us,

even You.

Thanks for playing or not playing.

The rest of us will attempt to enjoy our lives.

Peace Man
