Has anyone heard of Covid Psychosis?

MORRIS, Ill. – A family is grieving a loss as painful as it is surprising.

They attribute the loss of father Ben Price,48, to a rare and little understood phenomenon called “COVID psychosis.”

The married father of two was a farmer and business owner in Morris. In February, he contracted COVID-19 after riding in a car with others to Bible study.

“He would have never left us,” widow Jennifer Price said. “Our Ben would never have left us. And that’s what we want to get out. He was not our Ben.”

Jennifer said her husband was hospitalized for four days with lung and oxygen issues. He came home a different man.
