I will never take an mRNA covid vaccine. What about the J&J tho? | |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79096761 United States 03/05/2021 09:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | NO mRNA for me ... I decided NO mRNA for me which left J&J and Novovax, so far, that are up for approval in the US. Sputnik V is probably good too, but it will NOT be available in the US. Oxford Astrazeneca "may" come to the US but since no timeline has been announced I didn't look into that at all. Per an interview with the head of Novovax this week (NPR) he stated that for the original CV it had a 90% efficacy, for the South African variety it had a 70% efficacy for total prevention and dramatically reduced the symptoms for those who did get it (it was being tested in SA when that SA version broke out there so they have good data from SA). No data is yet available for Novovax for the Brazilian version of CV (I don't think any of the vaccine makers have any data yet on that version). Son's partner works for a group Dr practice and NONE of the Doctors of that practice were getting any nRNA vaccine, and of the entire staff only a couple have decided to get it. ALL the rest were waiting for J&J and Novovax to be approved. Good luck with your decision!! |

User ID: 31882376 Canada 03/05/2021 09:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just got my answer. I am currently watching the Fat Man's show. He has Dr. Tenpenny on and she's talking exactly on this. She said that the J&J doesn't cause your body to make the spike protein like the the mRNA ones do. Instead the J&J actually puts the spike protein inside an adenovirus and it goes into your cells. The delivery system is different but the end result is the same. Adenoviruses can cause cancer. So the J&J one is still a No. Quoting: Queserasera It takes from 6 weeks to 19 years for the autoimmune disease caused by the vaccine to show up. She said that in a few months now we will see many more deaths. J&J is made with the SYnthia programed DNA made by Craig Venter cut into the Monkey Virus DNA then injected into your body love batman ;) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80077010 United States 03/05/2021 09:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually, there is surprisingly little difference between J&J and the mRNA vaccines. J&J is an adenovirus vectored vaccine, and it uses a monkey virus. The coronavirus DNA is inserted into the genome of the adenovirus. Once this virus DNA is delivered through the vaccine, it gains entrance into your cells and is transcribed into mRNA. The mRNA then instructs cells to make the coronavirus spike proteins. So, the delivery system is a little different, but it's the same process of taking over your cells and instructing them to start making spike proteins. In fact, originally researchers worked with modified adenoviruses for the purpose of gene therapy, before they thought it'd work for making a vaccine. If a conventionally made corona vaccine shows up I wouldn't take that one either. They found out years ago that corona viruses have the ability to use specific antibodies as a pathway to promote viral entry into cells, increasing the severity of illness. This is called antibody dependent enhancement(ADE). In other words if you take the vaccine, later on when you are exposed to a wild corona virus you'll get deathly sick, way worse than you would of otherwise. So there's your answer, none of them are safe! |

Quoting: Queserasera Isn’t it a DNA vaccine? Still sounds scary in the sense that it’s new tech.. The Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine seems to be being attacked despite not hearing about many bad reports. Perhaps that’s because it’s safe and works. But I don’t know that. It’s prob the closest to a traditional vaccine and is not mRNA. Why take a vaccine when Ivermectin is so effective? Most people rid of Covid w 2 doses. |
