Seems to me a good employment lawyer could argue an EEOC claim here.

In order to be "assumed" that her "looking to protect a potential customer from a moving rack" was in fact "racist", that such logic would require only a white person could do so, which is in and of itself, racially isolating, and therefore discriminatory.

Ie, had she been black and done the exact same action such assumptions would not have been made.
