Think outside the box. If there are volcanoes and geothermal activity under Antarctica isn’t it possible there are areas like Yellowstone where hot springs are prevalent? If so, it is *possible* there could be pockets where strange fauna are able to live in those isolated areas.

Correct, the theory of gravity would suggest it’s not possible as it would pull everything towards the center and there would be a dense mass at Earth’s core.

However... we are supposedly an orb that is spinning through space, correct? Think of a merry-go-round that we played on as children. We didn’t get pushed into the center but rather thrown off-outward. So these two ideas are contrary to each other.

So we don’t fly off into space due to gravity. Check. But also, if we are on a spinning ball we should be flung off. Hmmm.... what’s the real story then? If you have a bowl of water and spin it the water goes towards the pure rim and forms a concave bowl in the center. Extrapolate this effect and you’d get a whirlpool.. Interesting how that mirrors the magnetic fields coming out of the North and South poles. So in my mind, just like that spinning bowl of water it does seem possible that there *could be* a concave or hollow center.

I am! As a training we should also go to the area near the Grand Canyon that is “off limits.” That might be another entrance. That one also makes no sense as to the stories about it, Native American myths... and the facts that’s it’s off limits to hiking.

No, gravity will be on the outer part of the sphere as well so the inside would not have much gravity.
