Growing up, my sisters and I often discussed what our children would look like and skin tone and whose children will look like what. My full blood auntie married a blue eyed scotsman and had five daughters and one had brown eyes, reddish hair light skin, another looked totally native american, Lori, the baby, had lite brown hair and grey green eyes,and so on.
A black college friend told me that her mom was totally white and her dad was half and she was told by her obstetrician that in that case, with three white and one black grandparent, her children would not be darker than the one black grandparent or could be totally white genetically. Two kids later, both boys just look tan.
With native people, I find we mostly want darker skinned kids,that lighter complexions are seen as a watering down our cultural heritage and our inheirited racial subconscious which holds memories of our past aquired knowledge of customs and traditions.Not only that, I would hate to lose my BodyTemp. of 95.6, which helps me tolerate the cold weather, same with unusual ear const. agains cold wind and to have acute hearing etc.

Harry was a young boy when his mom was killed. I recall him at her funeral & he had “Mum” on her casket. I have compassion for him... Very sad. He married someone that knew exactly what she was getting into. In a short time, she has ruined his family relationships & caused enormous embarrassment. Harry does look like a “hostage.” She is selfish & he looks out of place living in Southern California.

Harry isn't the only kid in the world that lost his mom, not the only kid who's mom was killed by a family member. Not the only kid that had to walk publicly behind his dead mother's casket, William did too and he doesn't use the death of his mother to excuse his bad behavior and gain sympathy. If he really was afraid of the press that supposedly killed his mom, then why does he insist on drawing attention to himself and his bimbo wife? Why doesn't he just go away and stay out of the spotlight. To me he comes across as a petulant disrespectful and entitled brat that has no idea what the real world is like. He isn't really good at anything, had he not been born into the Family, he would probably be lucky to be a manager at a fast food franchaise. Or maybe he would have learned at an early age how to take care of himself.

Genetics are surprising. I have an Australian Aboriginal GREAT grandmother. She "posed" as black Irish - but she was full Aboriginal.

I look Italian - but am White - never claimed otherwise. My daughter appears Bi-Racial. She got all of the Aboriginal coloring and afro hair - but fine features.

She read that books about Rachael (?) Who faked being black - and worked at NAACP. (She is fascinated with that topic) - but claims to never - EVER - identify as black.

I am proud of her - she is also conservative. She is like 5% Aboriginal! Not sure- but great great grandmother is pretty far back in family tree.

My grandfather (it was his mother) was n@@@er this - and n@@ger that (his best friend was black) / but his appearance was like black Irish. (He was from Virginia).

I bet we are all kinds of races if we look far back enough!
