Now when Europeans came, they did believe in ownership and land and boundaries and such, but the Indians only fought with other Indian tribes but they never fought to protect divisions of land. It actually was a beautiful concept when you think about it and I have read books on the Inuit Eskimo and their philosophy on possessions and it's a beautiful story but they are few and it can be practiced easily. I don't know the facts of Mexico and Texas but I do know a lot about various Native Indian tribes having grown up in Buffalo, NY area.
