I've learned there are many compounds like this. At low levels they are extremely beneficial while at higher dosages the story changes...in some cases, like terpentine, they are deadly. |

Relatively experienced with hallucinogens so I took a quarter to the face. Big mistake! I ate a quarter once. Strongly advise against it. I was curled up with my face in a pillow for hours. Wouldn't call it a bad trip, just not a fun trip. Only time I ever tripped shrooms and didn't enjoy it. Anyways yeah I'd stick to a gram or 2 at a time now. Much more enjoyable. Definitely no more than 3.5 grams. Never for multiple days in a row either. Once a month is even a lot. Everything seems better after tripping shrooms, and not just for a day or 2...for months. I can really see how they could be the cure for those suffering from depression. Be careful though and start small. 1 gram can go a lot farther than you might think. No more than 2 grams your first time. 3.5 won't hurt you but it may be a deeper trip than you're looking for your first time. Anyways moral of the story... Never eat more than 3.5 grams of shrooms and beginners start small. It won't hurt you, but less is more on this case. |

User ID: 76604177 United States 03/10/2021 12:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I took lions mane for about a year. I have MS, and optic neuritis. Optic Neuritis is causing me to have issues with colors- they are less bright. I might think blue is gray, or yellow is tan. It has damaged the nerves in my eyes. I have also had cognitive issues due to this disease, specifically doing mental math ( which I used to do with ease) and finding words when speaking. Within a few weeks of starting Lions mane everything was brighter and sharper- I could see better, and did not need my glasses as much. I was also able to write and talk with ease, and do math with lighting speed once again. I quit because I was afraid to mix it with my other medications- I think I may slowly add it in, if my neurologist allows. It really helped. |
