Video games to pass time // Got surgery so I have time to kill, suggestions?

I play new games pretty infrequently and have a pretty large backlog of games I've bought on sale over the past 8 years or so. Your thread reminded me how I should start playing one lol. I'm probably going to give Metro 2033 a play soon.

Metal Gear Solid series

I recommend Ark: Survival Evolved.

Check it out. It's pretty open-world and has an interesting storyline imo.

If you grt into it, it will keep you busy for a WHILE.

I used to make fun of my son playing Fortnite. But then he asked me to play with him and I have to admit, it is pretty fun. It is an easy way to pass time, doesn't cost anything and it is not pay to win. The only cost in the game comes if you decide to buy different looks for your character.

I started playing about 2 years ago. I don't play anymore.

It's a very good game with an extremely steep learning curve.

It's like stalker mixed with eve online.


I recommend subnautica, one of my all time favorite games.

Valhiem looks pretty good it's new haven't played it

OMG Dark Souls is hella tough but the graphics are outstanding. Great suggestion.

I just got Detroit: Become Human two days ago.

Will be playing it over and over for a while as there are so many different choices
that will keep changing the story. Great graphics, too, when maxed out at 1920x1080.

Yeah. I'm stuck in Valheim. Also got a whole Steam Library full of Viking/Nordic Medieval games to compliment the immersion. But mainly to learn about different ways of constructing settlements, and other viking architecture. Also the Lore.

"DAYS GONE" IS INCREDIBLE.

IT WILL KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED FOR A LONG TIME.

I WAS PLAYING IT FOR TWO HOURS A DAY FOR MONTHS AND ONLY FINISHED HALF OF THE GAME.

INCREDIBLE STORY AND GRAPHICS.

CYBERPUNK 2077 IS EXCELLENT. THEY ARE PLANNING DLC AND AN ONLINE VERSION SIMILAR TO GTA5.

Just started a VERY weird game called "Death Stranding." There are a lot of cinematic sequences and after an hour into it I STILL don't know wtf is going on but it is creepy to say the least. My morbid curiosity will probably keep me involved for a little while at least.
