When it comes to discrimination, the Irish were treated at least as bad as the blacks. Both started as slaves, but the Irish found a way to improve their lives. Even the blacks didn't see the discrimination that the Irish did in the Northern states. "No Irish" signs were everywhere. If there was a crime committed, the Irish were rounded up without any grounds. They were taken in for questioning after every crime when the order went out to "round up the usual suspects". That is why the Irish and Scotts-Irish are more concentrated farther inland.

Get sick - they turn green
Get scared - they turn ghostly white
Get angry - they turn red
Get embarrassed - they blush pink
Get sun burned - they turn orange
Get sun tanned - they turn brown
Get cold - they turn blue

Main difference - the Irish worked and didn't come looking for handouts.

Please think about your use of the word dominate just here. I think you mean something different.
Dominate means to rule the roost, its a verb that doesn't fit
Dominant might be used when talking about genes, dominant vs recessive, but doesn't fit either

There are actually very few words to say what you are trying to say, but I think the best way is the simplest. Whites are not a majority on this earth. They are a minority.

There were celtic people other places besides ireland, they had the same musical instruments and plaids all along the coast, for instance, even into spain. In fact, plaids can even be found in other ancient places that aren't even on the coast. Even into Asia.
