Here's my guess...earths magnetic field is at it's weakest...getting weaker.

Cosmic rays are able to more easily penetrate our atmosphere...and into earth...cooking from the inside out...sort of how a microwave works.

I hear you Trey, although it’s not an ele every time this happens though is it? I didn’t think it was. Won’t a lot of it boil down to geographical luck and how smart and well prepped you are as to whether you make it through it?

Seems to me to be fairly cyclical...every 12,000 years...an ELE. Perhaps it won't be that huge an event. I know nothing. But if it is a geomagnetic pole reversal...anyone within 50 miles of coastline will be rolling the dice. Just my opinion.
