I have my own EVH story, 1984 OKC, my cuz worked a record store & would always get excellent tickets, so we had the hook up for both nights of VH's OKC shows, then we found out where VH was staying, we got a room there.

It got so crazy they wouldn't let you into the hotel unless you had a room key, anyway after the 1st night show, we went back to our room, & me being a night owl, I couldn't sleep so I went down stars, they had a huge area with a piano & I'm just sitting there chillin at 3 AM someone comes & sits down & starts playing the piano, yes it was EVH, I just there in awe & had my own 15 min. show, I was frozen, he stopped playing got up & I finally had the courage to say goodnight, he said goodnight & went back to his room

Of course, didn't have my camera, my cuz was furious when I told him, why didn't you come & get me, I said dude, no way was I moving.. lol
