Should we be scandalized to learn that Covid-19 vaccine trials may not prove the vaccines to be lifesavers, for the elderly or anyone else? Should we be further scandalized by the suggestion that influenza vaccines have not saved lives?

None of this is surprising to me. What shocks the hell out of me is how many people are clamoring for the vaccine. If the goal was massive depopulation, they may have already achieved it based on the number of mindless zombies happily waiting for "their turn". It may not be immediate, but give it a year or two and suddenly otherwise healthy people are dying of illnesses that they would have otherwise recovered from.

I think you are right. Dr Bossche does not rule this out but focuses on the weakening of our innate immune system because of enhancing it with an artificial antibody producer.

Yes. Can you imagine the explosion of life-threatening viruses and cancer in the next few years. Because of their comprised immune systems?! Essentially 6 billion AIDS patients...

Something is very wrong with this vaccine rollout - time will tell ?

I am NOT an anti-vaxer.

My family and I will not be taking the vaccine. We never get the flu vax either. It's my belief that our immune systems should be sufficient enough to either prevent contracting any of it, or if we were to get it our immune systems will be tough enough to get through it.

But I understand to a certain point why the vax would be appealing to people. If others decide to get it then that's their personal choice, and I am ok with it. If you do decide to receive it I would just pray that it does in fact protect you from what it's supposed to and cause no harm.

It just concerns me that it was developed so quickly, and is still considered experimental. Alot of controversy surrounding the ingredients, who knows what's true or not unless we get independent analysis.

Fauci should be questioned in regards to this finding.
All Fauci keeps saying is get the jab get the jab!

I am not an anti-vaxxer either. However my husband is getting his first shot on Friday. He is a picture of good health, as am I. It just kills me that he is throwing away a perfectly good working immune system. His motivation is fear. The doctors all say you need to get it. This is an otherwise very intelligent man. I have beaten my hand against the wall and given him videos to watch, articles to read, which he has all refused to even look at. I didn’t go to medical school so I don’t know what I am talking about.

I am so terribly sad.

This is what is shocking to me as well. They look like doofuses, all excited about it and the media gleefully reports on it like they won a lottery.

The media's diamond cutter level hard-on over this vaccine has me more suspicious than anything. The harder they push it, the more suspicious I become. I usually watch it only to see if I can tell whether the reporter believes the crap they are reporting, or if they are just doing their job and have doubts like a normal functioning human being should have. I rarely spot skepticism on the reporter's delivery which makes it even more troubling.

I'm beginning to think I fucked up somewhere and got downgraded to another worse timeline.

The poster's point is that the vaccine gives rise to mutations of Covid-19 that will be much more infectious and dangerous.

The new kinds of flu will be most be likely to infect persons with weakened immune systems. Persons like the vaccinated.

Ironically, people who received the shot will mostly soon die of the flu, anyway.

Also people who abstained from the shot will have a better chance of recovery, and mostly survive.

Honestly, I'm not sure about this claim.

1) The viral escape is really dependent on just how transmissible this virus is with vaccinated people. We know it most likely does not produce sterilizing immunity, but we also are pretty sure that it 'substantially' reduces transmission.

Whether this is enough to allow viral escape and end up with a more dangerous mutation is a question of probably some very complex math. Guessing we don't have the data and modeling done on this yet.

It sounds like this is a possibility and one we should probably figure out before we vaccinate the world;

2) As for the impact to the immune system NK cells - I'm not sure I understand why building up IgA/IgG and T-cell memory would adversely effect NK cells. I'm also not a virologist or immunologist ;) so maybe someone else can explain.
