WHAT WAS YOUR "GS" NUMBER?
AND
HOW HIGH DO THEY GO BEFORE THEY TURN INTO SOMETHING 'ELSE'?
I ACTUALLY KNOW THE ANSWER. PLEASE DON'T MIND THIS LITTLE TEST.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE 'ELSE' IS CALLED. THAT IS 'TERMINAL' INFO...I KNOW THAT. UH,CAPMAN.
Quoting: muckuh I was an enlisted soldier and never paid at a GS rate. I originally enlisted as an intelligence analyst when I was 18 and was fast tracked for promotion due to a lack of NCO's in my MOS. I was offered the CI job when I was 25 and at the time I was an E-6 Staff Sergeant. After heading back to Huachuca, I was promoted to E-7 Sergeant First Class. I never paid much attention to the civilian employee GS rates other than being keenly aware that the majority of the ones I encountered made better money than I did.
