Good morning OP. One thing that has been bothering me is civilian recruitment. Awhile back someone told me that they had been basically tapped-in, and I advised them to disengage and forget about it. I told them that the only way to legitimately get in was through the "front door", as-in apply on the website(s) and follow the regular on-boarding process.

I still think that I gave that person good advice because how would they really know who they were working for if they did not go through regular channels? If someone is approached like that what should they do?
