looking at the Global incident map [link to quakes.globalincidentmap.com] with Satellite view on. shows a starkly different image than the map from 2017 from [link to zoom.earth (secure)]

You can clearly see in the updated map that the trees appear to be gone and or burnt. The Global incident map has a 2021 date stamp. Even so, you can also see another area on that 2021 map that appears to have a fire? A plume?

Starting to look like this may have been fires from last fire season after all, but if so, it doesn't explain the fire or plume there now in the 2021 image.

So.... doesn't mean any fire there has not due possible volcanic activity.

Ah well. It's all intriguing.

I am am not about to hike out there and stomp around.

Doesn't remove the fact that Central Idaho is having spastic and unprecedented earthquake activity that has been ongoing since about this time last year.

Nor does it dismiss what Dutchsince was discussing in California with what appeared to be volcanic plumes that he felt were responsible for some of the fires there.

All I can say is that most of this state still has snow on the ground or is currently melting especially lower elevations are staring to be without snow but kind of muddy. There is no chance for any forest fires.

I can testify our air quility this afternoon was not great but seemed better as the sun set. We are expecting great clear weather tomorrow followed by wind and then moisture over the weekend.

More information than you wanted to be sure. tounge

I live in Idaho. If the images were taken during Smoke season, that would explain it. Last September it was awful. You couldn’t see a mountain 300 yards away for a whole month. You couldn’t see further up than 100 yards. All of Idaho is full of hot springs, which means it’s volcanic. I haven’t driven around Stanley in a few months, but there are frequently quakes in the 3s. We are on the backside alignment of the incoming cosmic system and are experiencing an increase of charged particles bombarding the earth and warming the core. We know volcanic activity was going to pick up this time of year. We are also nearing the 40 degree point of no return mark for the upcoming pole shift. That will surely cause more catastrophic events.

I do not know about this one, Fictitious. The Sun still looks to be pretty much right where it is supposed to be in the sky during the day to me.

clanking around~

I don't see any fires. Seems not possible as we are still damp from snow?

Here's your paid public service announcement "B" sci-fi movie covering the signs of volcano activity in Idaho-Montana region. Filmed on location.
