After a days organizing for the family, And I can have some peace. I like to go back to elements of the 1970's. I do this with music, a drink popular to that time (Fluffy Duck) and maybe a rolled special smoke (So as to not have a hangover) and if I am lucky, Some one runs me a bubble bath and massages my feet. Ah, the 70's.  You just inspired me. One way to satiate nostalgia could be to have themed parties. No smartphones allowed! Would anyone comply?  But to even do this for yourself and channel the good that you felt then rather than the despair of reminiscence... Great idea! Oh Yes, they make the best party's, and the kids really get into it too. In the country, we would have a breakfast party. started at 6am, family's would all come, pastries all home made from each place and brought to the occasion. the BBQ would be cooking the eggs and bacon, and small sausages. the coffee and tea was hot, all the good breakfast stuff. all over by 7:30 am and off to school and work for the many friends who came. Hardest part was always getting out of bed, easy part was eating and chatting amoungst friends. Very popular is a good breakfast party for the day.
