I've never seen mention of carl Munck on GLP, but anybody reading ths thread would likely find this fascinating.

I had a look at that video and was hard to follow, I don't think he was purposefuly misleading but some times people get obsessed with their ideas and massage the numbers to make them fit. What do you think about his idea of making the Great Pyramid the reference meridian, tho? I have always thought that is weird the Masons decided to shift it to Greenwich. Sort of trying to conceal something. Perhaps is just my paranoia, anyway. About all what you have posted, all I can say is express how it has made me feel:   Hi thank you very much. You can imagine how much fun and how I felt as I discovered these things. As to Giza being used as as 0 degrees longitude it certainly makes sense but as you may have seen in one of my Atlantis threads Giza really did not fit in to Plato's account. I do not necessarily subscribe to that thought but that is not to say that it couldn't be true. I have been more concerned with tying the pyramids into the solar system and a planetary grid is not one of the things I have really studied in great detail. HOWEVER latitude is a different story and since a right angled triangle in size 1, 2 and sq rt of 5, a triangle that plays a great significance in my studies, gives us angles of 90, 60, and 30 degrees and the fact that Giza lays almost precisely on the 30th degree of latitude could be significant. But it could also be showing us the speed of light ... or it could be showing us both. My journey down or along the yellow brick road led to what I feel is "The Sign of The Gods" and remarkably finding that "key" unlocked all the other mysteries. Amazingly they all had the same solution. But I don't want to jump ahead of myself. As just a little sidelight, much of my work was dismissed, and still is, by mainstream Egyptology because they claimed The Ancients could not have known the distance to the planets and also dismissed because they said I only used The Giza Pyramids. So I went and did a systematic study of all the other major pyramids and discovered basically the same ratios. The Red, The Bent, The Pyramid at Meidum, The Step Pyramid of Sakkara along with the three at Giza, I call them "The Seven Sisters", all yielded data based on the simple ratios I had shown existed at Giza. My research spans almost 30 years and consists of thousands of diagrams, millions of calculations and countless dead ends. Most people have no idea how exhaustive my research has been. This is why I am very secure in my beliefs and conclusions. Some of my more esoteric ideas are mine and you are free to accept or not but if one ignores my conclusions please replace them with a conclusion of their own other than ... it is just a coincidence. There is still tons of data to come ... .
