A cold virus almost destroyed humans way of life. Can you imagine what kind of chaos something like disclosure would bring?

A thought I had lastnight after taking a dab is how fucking crazy people on this planet would go if aliens made contact with earth. There are people like myself that believe humans deserve the truth but I also think that at this point humans probably wouldn't react in a positive way. Another reason I think disclosure is not possible is that humans can't even get along with each other why would aliens risk making contact with us? It wouldn't benefit them at all....
