I'd heavily disagree on this one. If you look at the video you can see that the soldiers who got off the heli where lying down in defense positions. That would make sense only if they're in enemy territory.

Also the three boats that managed to leave went towards Odessa.

In my opinion it is clear that this was a Ukie attempt to take the island and have some nice propo before May 9th.

I agree here. The boats heading towards odessa after the attack is what sold it for me, no chane Russians would head that way after. I think theres some chance the russian landing craft was hit before the majority of this stuff as Russians left the island to goad the Ukrainians to make a move on it, but unsure.

This reminds me of Collin Powell with his sattelite images of WMDs in Irak. Or the images from Bucha which supposedly showed corpses lying around for over 3 weeks.

No, friend. There is not "some kind of proof". Either there is proof or there is speculation. I think its the latter.

As said. Lying down after descending from a heli does not make sense in territory that your team controls. It makes sense only if you're on enemy territory.

But is there any kind of proof of that? Other than an unnamed source I mean. The helicopter allegedly was a specop extraction group coming in to evac people from the island after the initial strikes on the boats, it was still an active combat zone. Obviously they took enemy fire whoever it was. Plus there's the identification of the helo as a type the Ukrainian's don't fly at all, they're only used by Russia.

Granted you can say RSOTM is an unnamed source as well but at least there's a LOT of stuff floating around independently of them that appears to support that version of events.

Individually it's all sketchy but taken together one thing supports the rest and so on.

So either the Ukrainian's (and some Russians) are telling the truth or they went through a lot of effort to forge and disseminate evidence for something they didn't have to announce in the first place. Plus the satellite photos are open source.

If there was truth to the Russian claim we should see some kind of proof from them as well but all I've seen is a lot of muddying the waters.

Norway has gas to continue exporting at 2019 levels for 18 years, but prudence recommends that they stop exporting in 10 years.

Now, if the quantities of exported gas continue to increase, it is very likely that in 7 or 10 years it will have to buy gas from Russia (cheap) or the USA (super expensive).

Let's go, Norway's gas exports are bread for today and hunger for tomorrow, not to mention whether we enter a le of mini ice age or not.

You are right, there were lot of nazi sympathizers but mostly after Soviets attacked Finland first. Some even dreamed of conquering Russia with Nazis. It was forbidden history for long time, but in recent years here have been much talk about Finland's darker side during WW2. Simo Hayha is considered a hero and a legend by many Finns. It is because Finland's identity lays mostly in winter war (finns are tougher than russians) and winning gold medals in ice hockey world champions. Silly it is.
