Not just combatants either but ununiformed combatants who are not wearing uniforms or identifiers and fighting as part of a recognized combatant force. This right here means that they can technically be executed on sight if caught and are now both defacto and de jure able to be legally targeted as combatants. Matter of fact because of other things Ukraine has done in handing out weapons and gear to civilians the Ukrainian government made them combatants under the internationally recognized laws of armed conflict. The west and Ukraine cannot have this both ways. What has been done and is still continuing to be done by the Ukrainians and their western advisors was definitely not in the best interest of the Ukrainian people. That's the infuriating thing about all this. The west has collectively advised and assured the Ukrainian people of things that were not in their power to guarantee nor were they legally ethically or in fact advisable. This should trouble you no matter which side you are on wrt this war. People who absolutely knew the consequences and legal obligations of their advice gave the Ukrainian public advice and enabled them to do things that made them legitimate targets with the specific intent to get those people killed so that they could use the resulting tragedies in a propaganda war. roguetechie |

Because of this I've also taken multiple precautions to make it very hard for them to financially destroy me when the time comes. Almost nothing that's happening right now is even slightly surprising to me much less unanticipated or even unplanned for. I know where this is going and the broad strokes of what I can expect to see happen, the only real unknown for me is the exact timing and whether or not enough people can be woken up to avoid what's coming at us faster and faster. Personally, I've also made the decision that no matter how bad it gets no matter how unsuccessful we are at getting people to see understand and proactively work to prevent what's coming... I will die in the saddle with my boots on my honor and morals uncompromised and with a clear conscience knowing I did everything I could. As one man this is all I can do.
