Th only place that actually has a definition of "assault rifle" is the US military. According to them, it is a full auto, military only weapon. What worries me is the crazy libtards that want to ban high capacity magazines and semi-automatic guns of all sorts. Of course this has nothing to do with me, since all my guns were lost in horrible boating accident. They all went to the bottom of Flaming Gorge. The water there is about 400 feet deep, so there isn't much chance of finding them. I hear that is a really bad place to go boating with guns. There must be thousands of them down there.  Check the wording on the bill. They’ve blanketed the assault rifle term on any semi automatic gun with 10+ capacity, detachable magazines, ability to attach modifications via rails etc, ability to fire at a certain rate, ability to receive a stock that is adjustable. They’ll come for body armor next. Body armor is not registered, so finding it will be problematic for them. You don't really own a registered gun. You are just borrowing it from the government, until they decided to take it back. That's what scares them about 80% lowers. Anyone can build a gun that does not have to be registered until it crosses a state line. So far, all gun control laws are part of the Interstate Commerce Act. That only applies to guns that cross a state line. As long as you keep it in the same state, it does not require registration. Anyone with the slightest mechanical ability can build with a gun with simple hand tools. Out fit your lower with what ever pieces you want and you end up with a custom gun that you can be proud of. thats what happens when you live in a state the registers guns...My state dont register guns you get a background check thats it. in the back ground check they are checking to see if you are a felon. they dont register the gun
