I made the mistake of ordering from a Chinese restaurant in the inner city. I had a craving for some hot rice and egg foo young. I didn’t feel like waiting or driving to my favorite place so I went their instead because it was on the way home and ate some of it in the car. Big mistake! Before I made it home, a 20-minute drive, I had to pull over at a convenience store only to find that the store didn’t have any bathrooms. I didn’t make it. I’ll spare you the details. Stribog. |

Oh my got, I got it soon too once, before I even left the Japanese steakhouse I couldn't leave the restroom. It was horrible drive home. My friends were laughing so hard taking pictures of me with a cramped look on my face trying to hold back. It lasted for hours too. grass fed sardines |

I do love me some Dim Sum. Heh, I couldn't even come on this thread yesterday, because I would've just been all..... I ordered some cashew chicken once, and it had some of a napkin in it....got damn. A napkin, mixed in with the food. What in the hellz were they doing in that kitchen?!!!! This all gives me an incredible sad. I love Chinese food, it's one of my favorites. I mean, I can make it and I do, but take out Chinese used to be just about my favorite thing when it comes to eating. Now?.....NO Chinese food for me!.... Dimly lit room to order and looking through the kitchen seeing some old sweaty Chinaman with a durry hanging off the bottom lip. The politeness of asking for my order in delicate china lady manner only for her to channel her inner dragon when she relays order to kitchen spat with fire and pure hatred. I think she is married to the cook. A cash register sat on the counter but its not even plugged in. Tallys my bill on a note pad at speed of sound and has correct change for me before I've even looked at what notes are in my wallet. The looks of nervousness from China lady when all transactions are complete and I'm not already gone. .. and heaps more. I love that place. |

Quoting: REaliZe Otherwise hard to mess up General Tso chicken. Unless, it's not really chicken at all... Around here, I think they use the oldest chicken they could find, and then only a little bit of this tough assed chicken is used, with A LOT of breading. It's fucking nasty. It used to be one of my favorite things to order when I lived in the city. Now, I never order it. :cgmad: You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
