It's a good time to take inventory of your medicine kits. Medicine is becoming hard to find as Southern Prepper1 subscribers can attest to. China is cutting us off from their supply distributions. The idea of going to a medical facility these days is seriously overwhelming so the small things are being put off.

CP did a quick short on expired drugs. Excellent points. All antibiotics are fine to take even after they expire except the cycline bunch, tetracycline, doxycycline etc. They become chemically altered in a bad way, just the cyclines. All others are good to go.

For the farm animals I have Pennacillan G that is expired but still works great. Just finished dosing the old cat who is doing fine. Penn G will require a prescription after this June.

Take the time to fill in the meds your missing.

Correct! Most meds are good past the expiration date. I keep my cabinet stocked. On my recent dental trip, the doctor gave me a pain medicine prescription. Even though I do not like pain medicine, I filled it anyway. You never know when you will need it and can't get it.
