They have this set up so it's nearly impossible to talk with someone from the SOS office, all automated responses. All the statewide offices are linked to one # in Lansing. I found an email extension that I sent a message through asking for an online renewal or suggested they could come outside and take my pic. Frankly I don't anticipate much response or empathy. I will not call the gretch, but I may find another avenue.
