I can't speak for everywhere but the health care here in Colombia is excellent even with just the cheapest basic insurance. Medical tourism is a big business here, especially here in Medellín and also Bogotá. You can look up the health care rankings by country and see for yourself but based on personal experience given the choice between being hospitalizada in the US or Colombia I'd easily pick Colombia and I have family in the medical field in both countries. I can also say from personal experience that you can buy hydroxychloroquine OTC here for less than $25 USD for a 3 month supply and none, not one, of us has gotten the Kung Flu while taking it. That's why they tried si hard to downplay it after fauchi endorsed it as the go to treatmement for coronavirus 15 years ago. If I had a dollar for every time I got suspicious... I'd wonder who was paying me, and why? |

It has an incubation period of between 2 and 21 days. Onset symptoms typically include a slight fever, sore throat, and fatigue. So, you think you’ve got a head cold, go to the doctor. Doctors in America and elsewhere right now would look at those symptoms in isolation and test you for Covid. The test comes back negative, so you’re sent home to rest and maybe take some antibiotics. It’s not until a few days later when you go to the ER coughing up blood that you find out you’ve got Ebola. Even then, would doctors know to test you for Ebola right now? I don’t know. They might consider some sort of antibiotic reaction. You can cough blood with pneumonia and other illnesses that are more prevalent here. So, that’s days you’ve potentially been spreading it without even knowing that you have it. |
