Quoting: Anon Braveheart “Players are very much aware” of the Georgia voting bill, Clark told the Boston Globe. “As it relates to the All-Star Game, we have not had a conversation with the league on that issue – if there is an opportunity to, we would look forward to having that conversation.” If Major League Baseball removes the All-Star Game from Georgia, it would not be the first time that a professional sports league punished a state for its politics. In 2017 the NBA pulled its All-Star Game from the state of North Carolina when that state passed a law preventing biological men from using female restrooms. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver demanded that the state reverse the law — which it did not do — and then moved the game to New Orleans when the state refused to comply. [link to www.breitbart.com (secure)] I'd consider that a badge of honor. Screw all these corporations trying to bring this country down. Stop buying any of their product, and tell MLB to go to hell. |

But, asking someone to prove who they are to vote somehow disenfranchises some voters, there is no way in 2021 in the USA you can function without having I.D. The hypocrisy of this and the Filibuster rule is just so old. GA is only doing what all states need to do in order to preserve a free and fair election for everyone. Andrzej |

I’d hate to see America’s pastime polluted by ‘wokeness’. I’ve already given up on football & basketball; I was hoping baseball would’nt let me down. In my opinion. The Georgia law didn’t go far enough. The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object. ~ Thomas Jefferson, Inaugural Address, 1801 It is not only vain, but wicked, in a legislator to frame laws in opposition to the laws of nature, and to arm them with the terrors of death. This is truly creating crimes in order to punish them. ~ Thomas Jefferson, 1779 |

But it's racist to have to prove who I am to cast a vote in an election. I need an ID and several other forms of identification to get my utilities turned on. But it's racist to have to prove who I am to cast a vote in an election. I need an ID to get the Covid vaccination. But it's racist to have to prove who I am to cast a vote in an election. And speaking of that, how are all of these no ID voters going to get their vaccinations that the administration is pushing on us? How are they going to get their Covid Passports? Won't those be considered racist, too? I mean, a passport is a form of ID, right? Seems like the only thing you don't need an ID for in the U.S. these days is to vote! |
