I believe they just prevented some shows from being aired. I would be most impressed if they hijacked the signal and aired something controversial. A 'message from an alien invasion force' would have been awesome.

Weird stuff happens on the CBC regularly but it's hard to say for sure whether it's hacking. Video and audio artifacts galore, and many times when they have a guest on over Zoom their connection gets torpedo'd.

Of course, they can't admit that it was likely some intern that downloaded warez on a host with full domain access.
