Perhaps they are just lessening the risk of a rollover in port ?
Quoting: crowfluence Absolutely. That poor ship was aground on the front and back, and the middle hung in the middle sagging under the weight of 18,000 containers. Add to that the trauma of it being drug out of the sand and mud. That thing is damaged badly and is heading for the scrap yard. It would make a great storage shed in my backyard .
