Hope this launch goes well for them.

Tim Dodd thinks they may have activated the flight termination system during landing.

Pieces of starship were landing all around his cameras.

It looks like they blew it up in the middle of landing before it even hit the ground. That's why debris is raining down all around the landing site. Everyday Astronaut may have just lost $20,000 worth of cameras.

Since the camera went out right as the engine relight was happening, my money is on something bad happening with the engines themselves. I think they had a RUD caused by an engine during the landing relight.

They must have went to 11 miles and hit the firmament!! Long live the flat earth and god save the queen.

It appears that maybe SN11 had a RUD upon re-lighting the engines for the landing burn.

Debris falling all over. Multiple camera's damaged. Pea soup fog blanketing the entire flight. Reports of other major damage in the area.

I guess back to the drawing board- Can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.. or in this case, $250 million dollar rockets.

the ship design is "faulty" it will burn and crash or crash and burn again .....

Poor old Tim Dodd looked a bit distressed about his cameras, quite a few grands worth.

Very dramatic show for him, though. Particularly the part where he's waiting for the shock wave from the detonation to roll in.

I wonder what the problem was this time? They've got everything else down-pat but the landing.

Maybe an engine problem. I have a feeling a Raptor went kaboom. I'm sure they'll figure it out, they already have the next one built and ready to try again.

My only question is will it crash and burn or burn and crash?

Doubt it, they were already very low to the ground and AFTS is usually safed at that point. The timing coinciding with the engine re-light makes me think it was a catastrophic engine re-start problem.
