All Air Travelers to Germany Must Present Negative Coronavirus Test
The new rule goes into effect on Tuesday and travelers who cannot present a negative test result will not be allowed on planes.

".....the new requirement applies to any traveler age 6 and older entering Germany from any other country. The negative test result must be presented to the airline before departure."

Hmmm...you are right!

USA tourists, in Mexico, are having trouble re-entering the USA. They're making them stay in Mexico until they test negative. Can you imagine having to pay for hotel rooms? I don't trust the COVID tests (never had one and never will). They can be falsifying them to make the tourists stay. That's $$$$$$ for the hotels and restaurants. Plus, they're losing a paycheck from their jobs in the USA.

But....the illegals are free to enter the USA. They're tested once they're here. The tourists in Mexico can't get on a plane until they test negative.

Since when can't I drive and travel to PA from NJ, or to Delaware from NJ? I can drive to Florida, Virginia, etc.

I can also get on a plane and travel to other states. There are no restrictions. There never has been.

There are no checks at state "borders." I can't imagine the traffic if they tried to enforce that! I'm in NJ and drive over the bridge to PA anytime I want, and I have done it for years. In fact, there are several bridges between NJ and PA. No "checkpoints."

I'm not sure what law you're talking about, but I'm curious what you mean. Perhaps you can explain since you claim to know.

I agree. I lived in Germany. There can't possibly be "checkpoints" at the borders. It's not like there's one-road in and one-road out of Germany.

In the article it said one guy tested negative before he left Mexico but tested positive when he arrived in the US and had to quarantine. My God, what will it take for people to wake up to what a ridiculous scam this?
In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined:

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator.

I just googled flights to Munich, and this is just from the USA. Not from other countries:

The article states:

The health ministry is requiring COVID-19 tests to be performed at testing centers no more than 48 hours before entering Germany.

For example, a family wanting to vacation in Germany:

People have to get their house in order, take the pets to the kennel, pack suitcases for yourself and the kids, stop the mail.....and now get a COVID test for everyone. Wow...

Can you imagine how many international flights enter the USA every day?

The US has required a negative COVID test within three days of departure for all incoming international passengers since mid-February

"All air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board a flight to the United States"

Not true. The AlohaSafe app you are talking about is not mandatory.

You do have to have a negative test if you want to enter Hawaii and not do a ten day quarantine. It's been that way for months and Hawaii has the lowest COVID rate of any state as a result.

Re: All Air Travelers to Germany Must Present Negative Coronavirus Test
I am from Germany and they are serious about this.

Not only do you have to provide a negative test, but also before entering the country you are "required to complete digital registration on entry so that your local authority can monitor compliance with the quarantine requirement and the preconditions for exemptions to quarantine under federal state legislation. Your travel and contact details will be passed on to the local authority responsible for your address so that it may contact you."

Air travel is down to maybe 10%, the airports are like ghost towns. They will soon start testing employees twice a week.

I don't know much about how this is being checked, but I can imagine that at least in air travel it could proof very difficult to circumvent the things they require from you as a passenger. Crossing the boarder via car is a different story. It's just stunning, this shit needs to stop.

Oh and what happens if you are left behind in Egypt because you tested positive? Are you allowed to go to a hotel at your own expense and for how long will you need to stay there, do you have to take a pcr test or just quarantine for 14 days anyway. They really want to keep people from travelling.

Following a successful test with United Airlines in October, four more major airlines plan to start offering passengers a digital health pass to certify they are COVID-19-free.

JetBlue, Lufthansa, Swiss International Airlines, United Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic will begin the roll-out of CommonPass mobile app in December to help bring back global travel. The health pass app will be used on select flights departing from New York, Boston, London, and Hong Kong.

The CommonPass mobile app, created by the Commons Project Foundation and the World Economic Forum, was developed to enable travelers to share their COVID-19 test status across borders using a trusted framework for the first time.

Re: All Air Travelers to Germany Must Present Negative Coronavirus Test
Most if not all of Europe now wants PCR test to get into a country and the airlines are the ones enforcing it. Of course at any moment you can test false positive then you are fked big time as you have to pay 2,000 euros to stay in a quarantine hotel. Each PCR test cost around 120 euros and the UK is making you take TWO tests. One before you arrive then another 5 days later. These have to be pre-booked and get an access code before it will allow you to get back in the country. A road trip vacation from the UK to Spain and return is going to need 6 PCR tests per person and each country requires location form and reason for travel.

Yes you got a better chance crossing borders by road. However most countries still have the borders closed except for essential workers and truck drivers etc.

Some people are getting fined up to 10,000 euros for trying to escape to another country without a lawful excuse.

The good news is there appears to be no free lunch for those that got the Vax as PCR tests still required. :)
