When ours shut down in our small town last year (it opened in 1900 here), I thought they had mentioned that that was it, that ALL Sears stores were now GONE! It's too bad. I liked Sears. But then again just about everybody does if you get their top end model. Every battery type is designed for a particular purpose. An automotive battery is better in an automobile than a deep cycle because they are better at delivering high amps, but with a shallow discharge. Deep cycles survive many deep discharges. Golf cart batteries are heavy duty deep cycles built with thicker plates and are a proven choice in solar banks. |

I did a LOT of homework last time I needed a new battery and found that NAPA had lower prices on better quality than walmart, advanced, autozone, etc. Also, after many batteries over many years, I have found that 2 year batteries last 2 years, 3 year batteries last 3 years, etc. If you plan to milk your car till it cannot be fixed, go for 60 month at least, it'll save money and hassle in the long run.
