I had previously predicted the Russians might go for Mariupol next
Quoting: Builder of the Adytum Maybe Russia will take Eastern Ukraine and the coastline all the way to Moldova? It is really not that big of a coastline. I have considered that. They may work their way westward. Once the country is landlocked it is more easily controlled/subjugated. That is what I would do.  It would make sense for Putin to go big because he may never have another shot. And it would give him the ability to run a pipeline to sell oil into Europe. It would also be a real "FLEX" for the world to see. Sort of a "Don't fuq with us." Yes, all of that.
