Satan (formerly Lucifer), created to bring glory to, and to glorify God Most High, became covetous of this glory being given to God. He wanted it. He wanted to usurp God's place, and indeed, God Himself. When Jesus called Satan a murderer from the beginning, Who is it was Jesus referring to that Satan wanted to murder?. It was the living God Himself. Satan committed high treason against El Elyon, God Most High. He dismissed one pivotal detail, that sealed his fate for all of eternity. What was that detail that he so sorely neglected, and was therefore blindsided by? Simply this, that he is a "created" being. God is CREATOR. What was Satan's "Achilles Heel"? It was his "pride". Satan, blinded by his pride, was in essence puffed up with spiritual "delusions of grandeur". He, the "created", was going to "defeat" the "Creator"??!! If THAT'S not delusions of grandeur of the spiritually fatally permanent and eternally irreparable kind, i don't know what is. Here's the bottom line.... There is no "remedy" for him. It's why i gravitated towards this wunnerfully crazy and eccentically booming site, first as an AC, then eventually as a paying member. Here's one of the main reasons (other than the belly-laughing haw-haw-haw-ing and fer real "ROFL-ing" moments)... It's the "duking it out" with others. This is crucial. Yes, i'm a recovering, prolific, "cuss-er" BIG TIME (so was Peter). BUT God can channel that tendency to be Peter-like into verbiage that can, while holding one's ground, to get a point across and to be "heard", to be edifying and bring clarity to the "duking it out". We were estranged most of our lives (as i was from most, if not all, of my biological family). Yet, my prayer to God has been that none of my family would die, not "knowing" Him. This, alone, is against ALL odds, and a "miracle", because my family (at least most) had no inclination to WANT to know or to SEEK Him. i believe in "generational curses" and the chains and the chokeholds and strongholds the enemy has on entire generations, the intent being to "take them out", ev'ry-last-one-of-them (which, of course, would include me.) Yet God had other plans. Of all people, He SAVED me, against ALL odds. i should've been dead, multiple times. And yet, here i am. I remembered this song tonight, and in particular, the words to it, as i was ruminating about my brother's death, and loss, and how sad and mournful are some, if not many, are the chapters of our lives. The song is this one, "Who Am I" sung and performed by NEEDTOBREATHE. It reminds me of how God pulled me from destruction, in spite of myself. (i can not post a link or the video on this device, i wish i could....the song is worth a listen.....i was kinda' "numb" about my brother's death, but when i remembered this song, and watched and listened to the video, it's as if a dam broke, and God reminded me of "who" i am, in Him, and i was somehow comforted that He securely had my brother as well, safe in HIS arms.) It reminds me of a post i just saw about what matters is, how we treat others AFTER church. THAT is our testimony, and not how we "behave" and treat others while IN church. Quoting: canyouhearmenow? We did not talk, because he put my mother in a nursing home 15 years ago and I took her out of the nursing home and took care of her for 8 years until she passed over. I loved my mother and would do it all again. We talk now and then in dream state. super cool. I told her she could come talk anytime she wanted too. Those cries are the best. So deep. I had a couple in the last few days. huge release of emotions, again very deep. If I see wrong in the World. Then I say to myself, What I see God sees and what I hear God hears. I hand it over to God. And wipe my hands of it. The End Is Near! The End Is Now!
