Re: Derek Chauvin Trial - Day 6 - Livestream
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a juror who said during jury selection: "Black lives matter more than white lives"?

Isn't that grounds for an appeal, if Chauvin is found guilty on any count?
 Quoting: Wharf Rat

How about the city rushing a civil trial before the criminal and announcing record breaking payment for misdeeds. I mean WTF I couldn’t make a better case for never ending appeals if I tried.

He's not going free. That would likely be the end of what little civilization is left in the US.

But I was planning on walking out of Walmart with a free TV and my fist raised in the air! Oh well, I guess I can wait for the Mollie Tibbits murder trial.

I don't remember anyone saying that, had it happened I'm sure Judge Cahill would have dismissed them for Cause.

I do recall a few saying 'All lives Matter" when the Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter questions on their survey were discussed with them during Jury selection.
 Quoting: BBQ BOY™

The fifth juror selected?

(Less than 50%):

The juror, the fifth to be seated... said that he supported the ideals of the Black Lives Matters movement but went further than his peers saying, ‘All lives matter, but black lives matter more because they are marginalized.’

Ok I remember that now. That was Juror #44 a White Woman in her 50s,

Dang, that's awesome how you remember this stuff. If I hadn't already given you green I would give some more!

Still, my reaction to having a black supremacist on the jury is:

Defence had ask him how long its been since he made an arrest. He vaguely answered. " It's been a long time" instead of saying 32 years.

Yes, the only time you hear from someone it’s usually a defense attorney pointing out the obvious contradictions

One commentator pointed out the chief isn’t as confident as he was in direct questioning

He based a decision on a picture as to how much pressure was on GF, you can’t tell from a picture

I also think when a crowd forms around police, in this atmosphere, they do fear for things escalating or the crowd escalating the perp

I haven’t followed the case too much until now, didn’t the police try to help him out by letting him out of the car and then he became more agitated ?
