I live in grangeville.....good luck finding anything.....and he wanted mild winters, that's southern idaho....not northern!!!

How bout a 7 bedroom 4 bath 6200 square foot home with a pool on 4 acres in Idaho for $300,000 in fair shape.

I checked the winters in that area, not bad compared to the North East U.S. or North Dakota or Iowa..

Yes far north in Idaho it does get worse..

I was born and raised in Iowa during the 70"s you don't know how bad winters can be, I even lived in Navy barracks next to lake Michigan in the winter now that's bad very bad..
[wind and cold so bad we had snow inside the room on window seals everyday, you could never get warm enough]

Winters around Lewiston look easy and warm compared to those..

To be quite honest the market has sky rocketed in the last 9 months, most of the building is outside of boise where the weather is warmer....I am in grangeville, idaho county and everything has gone up with no supplies coming in....you would be hard pressed to find what you were looking for at this elevation, I still have snow in the back yard. Winter are reverting back to being really harsh,short,short growing season.

Did you look at my links above under Realtor.com, there is plenty for sale all over Idaho..

And you don't know cold winters, look at my post above..
