How does God speak to you?

There's a guy at work that is very religious that I talk with-we're both easy going, and can listen to the other's viewpoint with understanding, and not argument. I am not so much religious, but a spiritual person, although in my younger days, all I knew was Jesus Christ and Godammit. I knew there was something more than the physical, but deep with adhd, poor diet, and broken home, not settling down until 13 upon adoption with my now parents, I didn't have any clue to know there was something to explore, and all I knew is I wanted to be good, and not bad.

Anyway, over the years, he has come to understand that even though I don't go to church, my path is as true as he could hope to expect, and has come to accept a portion of my world view-same news sources, sharing what we find and learn, believing in "aliens" or other dimensional beings, yadda yadda... Well, he doesn't preach to me, but before Easter, he told me I need to go to church in physical. I tried to go back to the Lutheran church I was baptised and confirmed in a couple years ago, but at least for me, the Word was not as true there as the Lord's word should be(for me). I didn't need getting around a bunch of people with their smiles and nicest cloths telling me how great it is to see me, even thought we've never met. I love that camaraderie, but past experiences... I'm good. Fake practicers.

Since I've been offered and accepted the harder challenges from my meditations, they came a couple days before Easter. Many hard body blows you can feel past your bones, and into your heart. I could do nothing more than to through the motions to get by.

Before going to the in-laws for Easter, I watched a couple videos as I always do, but rather than get the info I was expecting and looking for, there was direct dialogue with me specifically that can't be proved to you, but is clear as day to me. Different people talking, going off-script from the convo at hand, and taking all their words from the different videos, made a complete and coherent conversation that I knew was meant for me. If others were watching, they would have seen it too, but was only for me.

I see that as other dimensional beings speaking to me through the electronic devices-the only means at hand. Now, I know what some are thinking-I'm listening to demons, but 1) demons lead you down a path, not comfort you and give you true encouragement and 2) I can trust myself to nourish the Holy, and not the evil within, and I choose to know the difference.

I thought it may be something worthwhile to post here, and as I gained the thought, I realized I AM going to church. I come here to share with like-minded people(and bots), and tell people how awesome they are, and how great things can be--that's church. Yet another direct conversation I had with God. The spirit speaks to me through nature, my meditations, and through others, but I guess the reason I'm sharing, is hopefully people can see how easy it is to find that support and direct communication from the Source if we're willing to listen to what is being said.
