How scary is that ? - In the conference, you have high level government officials and people in CDC discussing / considering shutting down the internet with a straight face.
Quoting: norakat147 There's other ways to communicate other than the net: Tellephone (Land line), CB radio, Ham radio, Shortwave radio, Smoke signals, walki talkie.. etc... Assuming those things work, you are limited to established contacts. Let’s say - military on the streets and you are limited to a 1.5 mile radius from your home then the information you have will be very limited and you can’t go anywhere on top of that.
